With FeatValue integration, you can better engage your clients in your project management while working in your familiar Jira environment.
FeatValue: Simple, clear client portal with all necessary functions
Your project management software: Complex workflows with many views, filters and settings
Configured in a few steps
Here you can install FeatValue on the Atlassian marketplace.
You can open the app under Apps > FeatValue. From here you can access the configuration.
By clicking on "Create new account" you will be redirected to the FeatValue registration. Your Jira account will be automatically linked to FeatValue.
After registration you will receive a verification link by email. Click on the link to verify your email address.
Now you have done it! You can now invite your clients and work with them. Click on "Create client":
FeatValue was developed for collaboration with the client.
Each client can have multiple projects. You can create a project by clicking on "Create project".
After you created the project, it was automatically created in Jira.
You can recognize projects from FeatValue by the prefix "FV - ".
This completes the configuration. You and your clients can now create tasks in FeatValue.
After the task is created, it also appears in Jira. In FeatValue, there is also a link in the task details to go to Jira. You have the possibility to open more details with the button "FeatValue".
By default, FeatValue creates a Jira workflow that you can start using right away. However, you can also switch the workflow normally in Jira and then configure the status mapping under Project Settings > Apps > FeatValue > Workflow.
Now you can get the job done with your team. If your client changes the priority or leaves a comment in the meantime, this will be taken over directly in Jira. Once you are done with your work, you can set the task to "Client Review" in Jira. In the dialog you can also leave a test note to your client at "FeatValue Review Notice".
Your client will be notified by email and can review the task in FeatValue.
.The task can be accepted or rejected.
If something is still missing, the task is reopened in Jira. If everything is ok, the task will also be closed in FeatValue and you have earned your closing time!
